Matt spent the week in California hiking with Chris.
The top of this giant mountain was their destination.
Yosemite National Park has many beautiful sights...
...and unusual water features.
They were determined to make it to the top.
Nevada Falls was one of two giant waterfalls along the route.
Matt got a quarter size blister on his heel about half way through.
This would have been the point where I would have freaked out!
They finally made it to the top!
It was 9,000 feet to the bottom.
El Capitan is the next mountain to climb. (...uh, maybe not)
They also visited the Redwood Forest.
Standing next to trees this tall can put things in perspective.
San Fransisco was the last stop on the trip.
Matt knows how crazy I am about recycling. I would LOVE to have a compost bin at every corner!
